The tangy aroma of the starter filled our kitchen, symbolizing not just the sustenance of our bodies but also the continuation of ancient baking traditions passed down through generations. As we mixed and fed the starter, we reflected on the cyclical nature of life and the importance of preserving these culinary customs.

Harvesting Herbs

Next, we ventured into our garden to harvest herbs, a ritual that connected us directly to the land. The scent of rosemary, thyme, and sage filled the air as we gathered these fragrant plants.
