There is a quiet rhythm to the meadow this time of year. Grasses bend in the wind, not resisting…just moving with what comes. The light stretches longer across the field, and everything feels softened at the edges.
I’ve been thinking about movement lately, not the hurried kind,
but the kind that feels guided. The kind that doesn’t pull you away from yourself, but gently returns you there. This week, I finished a new design called Wings Over the Meadow.
It came together slowly… layer by layer, like feathers forming shape. A star at its center, with points that reach outward in quiet motion. When I stepped back from it, it didn’t feel like a pattern. It felt like a moment. Like watching birds pass overhead without needing to follow...just witnessing their path and trusting your own.
This design is now available in the shop as a painted piece and soon a pattern and kit, created with the colors of the meadow and the quiet of open sky. If you find yourself needing a moment of stillness this week, step outside if you can.
Look up. Let something pass overhead. And remember, you don’t have to chase it
to know you’re on your way.
With Love from the Studio,
