We are finally to April! Can you believe this year is flying by so quickly? I get excited for the beginning of each month because it brings a new Civil War Block of the Month! This month's barn quilt block is the Yankee Puzzle.

Yankee Puzzle Civil War Block of the Month - April

This is such a fun block to paint and looks so great in different colors. I am painting the collection for a second time this month in dark folk colors. This quilt block was to signify the struggle Abraham Lincoln had between the rights of the state and the unity of our new nation. I have a full right up in this month's pattern. All of the previous months and April's are available in The Shop today!
