Springville Museum of Art Quilt Show

Every year the Springville Museum of Art hosts a fabulous quilt show that features quilts that are handmade from artists all over the country.  The museum is located at 126 South 400 East in Springville, UT and can be found online at www.smofa.org.   I took my daughter and had a wonderful afternoon looking at some pretty incredible quilts and came away a little inspired.

Springville Museum of Art

There were over 250 quilts of all sizes and styles.  I wanted to post a few of my favorites.  It's interesting to me that when you see hundreds of quilts in one place and you decide which ones are your favorites...you can tell what quilt you should make next!  I loved the dark black and bright quilts.  Especially one that was made with gorgeous hand dyed wool.

So here are a few of my favorites.....

If you are in Utah anytime from now through August 30th you should stop into the Springville Museum of Art and enjoy the beautiful quilts.  After grab lunch at the Trolley on Main Street and enjoy a great salad!  I love Springville and really enjoyed my day at the museum.
