Love Is Sweet - Vintage Photo Booth

This summer I had the blessing of being asked to design and coordinate a vintage backyard wedding for a dear girl and her sweetheart who she met on  study abroad in Jerusalem.  She wanted a Polaroid photo "booth" where her guests could take their pictures and write a note for them to keep.

My husband collects old doors from homes that he remodels and he had two perfect doors for this backdrop...we built a top and embellished it with a resin art piece, it was quite easy.  The bride choose her favorite fabric to make a curtain backdrop out of and the whole piece was embellished with a heart garland made from vintage ole' world maps, stitched onto a lace ribbon.

We found these vintage postcards online and had them printed on heavy card stock at our local print shop. We have a collection of them that is being made into a keepsake book.

I will be sharing different pictures from this beautiful wedding over the next few weeks. To say we had so much fun working with this family to create her "perfect day", is an understatement. We loved everything about this wedding and the personal touches we were able to use to make their day memorable for all.
