Love is surely sweet for this cute couple who gave their wedding guests a gift from their hearts....
As we were planning Tom and Andrea's wedding we tried to think of favors that were personal to them and their family. The grooms family owned a honey farm that had been in their family for generations. They wanted to give small little jars of the Meyer honey...it was perfectly sweet!
We found the little jars online at a restaurant supply site and the bride created a label with the words, "Love is Sweet", along with a thank you to their guests.
The family wrote up a little history on the farm and displayed the favors with pictures of the grandparents working the farm, and the bride and groom filling the jars. The 350 jars were displayed in a jelly cupboard that perfectly matched the bride's colors.
The honey was the perfect gift to give to their sweet guests. Several of them commented that they enjoyed the honey on toast the next morning...I had a little too!
